Our Upcoming Trips

We're visiting Brazil and Argentina to understand how growers manage pest and disease risk, how seed choice decisions are made, and the impact and causes of yield instability across seasons. Our priority crops are soybean, potato, maize, and wheat.

Brazil

February 2026

With a deep ecosystem spanning cooperatives, agtechs, and biotech pioneers, Brazil has become a global leader in agricultural innovation across diverse production regions. We want to learn how we can improve outcomes for Brazilian farmers and support the people pushing the frontier of modern production.

We’ll be visiting breeders, attending Show Rural, and would love to connect with farmers, researchers, cooperatives, and breeders working at the cutting edge.

Locations

  • Paraná: Cascavel, Londrina
  • Mato Grosso do Sul: Maracaju, Chapadão do Sul
  • Mato Grosso: Rondonópolis
  • Minas Gerais: Uberlândia

Argentina

March 2026

Argentina has been a pioneer in opening the gates and incentivising biotechnological solutions to be brought to it’s fields. With a vibrant ecosystem in agricultural innovation and extremely productive regions, such as the pampas, we want to learn more about how we can improve outcomes for argentinian farmers and support the local pioneers in agricultural biotechnology.

Locations

  • Santa Fe Province: Rosario, Santa Fe
  • Buenos Aires Province: Balcarce

How You Can Help

If you're open to a short conversation, or you can introduce us to a farmer, agronomist, breeder, or co-op in these regions, we'd love to speak with you. We typically start with a brief call, and if mutually beneficial, follow up with a farm visit.

Oliver and Sasha speak Spanish. For Portuguese, we'll use live translation and/or bring a colleague who speaks Portuguese and English.
